There is a need for "good guys" to man up and show the way for the next generation. There are many ways to portray masculinity, and that all of them are valid – as long as your portrayal of masculinity does not deny the humanity, dignity, or worth of any other person. "Man Up" means to make good decisions based on a moral or ethical framework, help others, and be comfortable in your own skin. "Man Up" means that you treat others – all others – with respect, caring, and grace.
The bell rings, the whistle blows, it's 5 o'clock somewhere...now it's YOUR time. Time to loosen the tie, grab an icy cold one or adult beverage on the rocks. You worked hard today (or pretended to) so you deserve a break-reward yourself with thoughts of that classic car you are working for, that beautiful woman waiting for you, that special one you can't wait to meet one day. Go ahead, jump on that bike, pour that beer, kick back and turn the game on. Grab your buddies to meet for poker, pool, cigars and whiskey. Or jump in the truck and get away from it all lost in the log cabin in the woods. It's time to make you happy.
A truck is a beautiful thing. It is simple and useful – like our dads and granddads were. Trucks are tough, sturdy and reliable. Sure, they get poor mileage and the ride is bumpy, but when the weather gets bad or you need to tow, haul or pull something, there is no better vehicle. A suburban man can live vicariously through a truck. He sees himself cutting and hauling wood on autumn days. He dreams of pulling strangers’ vehicles out of ruts along country roads. He expects to become a hunter one day and drive deep into the woods – across brooks and over rocks – in search of a big buck.
People who are motivated by achievement desire to improve skills and prove their competency to themselves and others. It can be an internal desire to strive for personal accomplishment or a search for positive feedback or recognition from others. If you're motivated by achievement and recognition from others, tie your goals to something personal like being healthy and fit for your family. We all want to feel like a good mom or dad and it certainly never hurts to get affirmation from others who see us feeding our children healthy options and staying active.
Men are passionate about their stuff, and American classic muscle cars are no exception. It is said that a man's car is an extension of his personality. It's a representation of his psyche – his id, if you may – that he sends into the outside world against the ongoing traffic flow. In extreme cases, some men become their cars and imbibe the qualities that their cars represent. Let us take a look at several reasons why men simply cannot resist the charms of a muscle car.
Early mornings have a bad reputation. Everyone wants to sleep in. Nobody wants to wake up early. But then that’s modern living, I guess. Early mornings have been tainted by their associated with work and weekdays, when life is a tired rush. And of course, late nights and intoxication don’t agree with early mornings, either. But, there’s something about early mornings that a few extra hours sleep can’t compete with. Even if you decide to go back to bed afterwards, just being there to see the day break is something special.

It’s probably not a revelation to tell you that Pinterest skews heavily female. 70% in fact, according to a recent study. But what’s more interesting is that men and women use Pinterest for vastly different reasons and in starkly divergent ways. Women are using Pinterest in a far more inspirational and motivational way than are men, who are more likely to use Pinterest as a visual bookmarking tool. More men are using Pinterest in the U.S. than read Sports Illustrated and GQ combined, the company said, trying to put its male audience into perspective as compared with other media companies.

Why ride a motorcycle? Riding is something most people don't have to do, but rather feel compelled to--for a wide variety of reasons ranging from passion to practicality. One of the most distinct things about riding is that nothing feels quite like a motorcycle; the thrill of being at one with a two-wheeled freedom machine that weighs only a few hundred pounds is one of the purest ways to get from point A to B, and the risks involved sometimes even heighten that enjoyment. What better way to escape than on a motorcycle? The sense of freedom feels more complete on two wheels, and riding doesn't transport you to a destination; it is the destination.
